Description:

Joy is currently a Master's student in the Learning, Design and Technology program. Before she came to Stanford, she was the Associate Director of Marketing at Zeum: San Francisco’s Children’s Museum (renamed Children’s Creativity Museum). Over the course of her career, she has also worked in various industries, including technology, consumer products, government, and non-profit.

Joy graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Spanish. She also studied in Madrid, Spain and taught high school English in Utsunomiya, Japan.

She is particularly interested in how ubiquitous access to technologies is changing the way that young people learn, play, make friends, and connect with their communities.
