Description:

Kathryn Papadopoulos is current master's student studying Symbolic Systems. Her research is in the Human-Computer Interaction group with Professor Scott Klemmer, looking at the potential of peer and self assessment as a way of scaling rich grading tools to massive, open, online courses, as well as studying the social interactions taking place in these courses.

In the TLTL, Kathryn is the Project Manager for the FabLab@School initiative at Castilleja School in Palo Alto. In this role, she works as the liaison between the TLTL and Castilleja, facilitating research efforts in the classroom, course curriculum assistance, and teacher development workshops. In addition, she worked as coordinator of Fablearn 2012: II Digital Fabrication Conference in Education, and is currently coordinating the preparations for FabLearn 2013.
